Tara Davis, a U.S. Olympian representing Champion, won the women's invitational long jump with a sixth-round leap of 22-5.25 (6.84m) at the Tyson Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Davis, who set collegiate indoor and facility records at the venue with her 22-9 (6.93m) performance at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor championship meet last year, elevated to No. 2 in the world this season, trailing only Serbia's Ivana Vuleta at 22-5.75 (6.85m).
