Vote for the Collegiate Performance of the Weekend 2/12-2/14

There were several collegiate leading performances and marks that put the competitors on the all-time collegiate list, capped by Raven Saunders collegiate shot put record:

Bradley Adkins Texas Tech - At the Tyson Invitational he took on the top collegians this season and established himself as the favorite after his clearance of 2.29m, 7-6, the collegiate leading performance, to win the competition.

Christian Coleman Tennessee - He swept the 60m (6.55) and the 200m (20.59) at the Tyson Invitational against some of the top collegiate sprinters. His 60m time takes the collegiate lead and 200m time moves him to #4. 

Ryan Crouser Texas - After three rounds at the Husky Classic this meet looked the same as other meets this year with a best of 20.50m. In the last three rounds he improved with throws of 20.85m, 21.11m and finished with a throw of 21.28m 69-9 3/4, an indoor personal record and 9th on the all-time indoor collegiate list.

Thomas Curtin Virginia Tech - He won a battle with Marc Scott at the Iowa State Classic in 13:37.10, #2 on the collegiate list.

Allie Ostrander Boise State - Allie took forced the pace at the Husky Classic and was passed  in the last lap by a 4:07 1500m runner, University of Toronto's Gabriela Stafford, but Allie charged around the last corner and beat Stafford with a collegiate leading time of 8:54.27, and #9 all-time indoors under any condition.

Elinor Purrier New Hampshire - She finished fourth in an elite competition at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational and her time, 4:29.71 gives her the collegiate lead by more than 2 seconds and it puts her #8 on the all-time collegiate list.

Brendon Rodney LIU Brooklyn - Rodney debuted over his best distance with a collegiate leading victory over 200m (20.52) at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

Raven Saunders Ole Miss - She has been very consistent this year and set a collegiate record in winning the Iowa State Classic with a throw of 19.23m, 63-1 1/4 (breaks Tia Brooks' record 19.22m from 2013).

Gabriela Stafford Toronto - Stafford took the lead from Allie Ostrander in the last lap but she was passed by NCAA collegiate leader Allie Ostrander and ran 8:54.87, just .6 behind Ostrander. The next day she sat behind the fast pace of top 10 ranked CIS teammates over 600m. With 60m to go she passed her teammates and ran 1:31.64 to move to third on the CIS list.

Eric Sloan USC - Sloan went into his sixth round jump in third place and responded with a collegiate leading jump of 55-10 1/2, =#10 all-time US collegian, to win the Tyson Invitational.

Patrick Tiernan Villanova - Patrick ran away with the NYU Fastrack National Invitational 3000m in a collegiate leading 7:48.55. This was Tiernan's track debut after his runner-up finish at the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships.

Alexis Weeks Arkansas - The freshman vaulter became the fifth collegian ever to break 15-0 with her clearance of 15-1 at the Tyson Invitational to move to #3 all-time.
